Privacy Policy

Mexora Interiors ("Mexora Interiors", "we", "us", "our") operates this website and the interior design inquiry form available on it (the "Consultation Form"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, especially the Consultation Form, why we collect it, how it's stored, and the choices and rights you have over it.

By submitting the Consultation Form or otherwise sharing your information with us, you agree to the practices described here. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details in Section 13.

Mexora Interiors is an interior design studio based at B - 127/128, Money Plant High Street, SG Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382470, India. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

We only collect information you choose to give us. Nothing is collected silently in the background.

When you submit the Consultation Form, we collect:

• Contact details: your full name, phone number, email address, and current address.
• Project details: city, project/scheme name, property type and status, carpet area, services you're interested in, budget range, timeline, preferred design style and colour theme, and a few yes/no questions (e.g. whether you already have a floor plan).
• Anything you write in the free-text "tell us about your project" field.
• Any files you choose to attach: floor plans, site photos, or reference images (up to 8 files, 10 MB each; images are compressed in your browser before upload).
• Your preferred contact method and best time to reach you.
• A promo code, if one was attached to an offer being displayed when you submitted the form.

When you verify your email, we temporarily process the 6-digit code we send you; see Section 5.

When you browse the site, our hosting provider and server may briefly log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security purposes, in the same way most websites do. We do not use this to identify you personally, and we don't run any advertising or analytics trackers on the public site.

We use the information you submit only to:

• Understand your project and get back to you with a free consultation.
• Verify that the email address you gave us actually belongs to you, before we act on your inquiry.
• Contact you through your preferred method, at your preferred time, about your inquiry.
• Apply a promo code to your inquiry, if one was included.
• Keep an internal record of inquiries so our design team can follow up and track project leads.
• Meet legal or accounting obligations, where applicable.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing by third parties.

Before your inquiry is saved to our system, we ask you to confirm your email address with a 6-digit code. Here's exactly what happens:

• The code is valid for 10 minutes and can be attempted up to 5 times before it's invalidated.
• We store a cryptographic hash of the code, not the code itself, and it's deleted automatically once it expires, so we don't keep a history of past codes.
• Nothing from your Consultation Form is saved to our database until the code is confirmed. If you close the popup before verifying, none of your details are retained.

Your inquiry details are stored in a managed MongoDB database. Any files you upload are stored with Cloudinary, a third-party cloud media platform, so we don't hold uploaded files on our own servers.

Access to inquiry data is restricted to authenticated members of our team through a password-protected admin dashboard. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the form itself:

• Cloudinary stores any files you attach to your inquiry.
• Our email delivery provider sends the OTP verification email to your inbox.
• Our database and hosting providers store the site and its data securely.

We may also disclose information if required to by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mexora Interiors, our clients, or others.

The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our admin dashboard, used only by our team, sets a single essential login cookie to keep staff signed in; this doesn't apply to visitors browsing the site or submitting the Consultation Form.

We keep your inquiry on file for as long as needed to respond to it and for our internal records, since interior design projects can take months to move from inquiry to booking. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, contact us (see Section 13) and we'll remove it, unless we're required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.

As a resident of India, you have rights over your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can ask us to:

• Access: give you a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Correct: fix anything that's inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase: delete your information where it's no longer needed.
• Withdraw consent: you can withdraw consent for us to use your information at any time; this won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a grievance about how we've handled your information, contact us using the details in Section 13. We'll respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

The Consultation Form is intended for people old enough to enter into an interior design engagement. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time as our services or applicable law change. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
