Mexora is based in Ahmedabad. The studio, the drawing office and the experience center are one address on Jagatpur Road in Gota, and every project the practice has delivered since 2015 has been run out of it.
That matters more for interiors than it does for most trades. An interior project is decided on site, in the week the carpenter is cutting and the electrician is chasing walls, not in the week the drawings are signed off. A studio in the same city can be at your flat the same morning you call about a detail. Mexora is on the Sarkhej to Gandhinagar highway, which puts the west and north of the city, from Bopal and Shela up to Chandkheda and Motera, inside a short drive of the office.
We work on homes, offices, showrooms, restaurants, clinics and hotels across Ahmedabad, as a turnkey practice: the same team that draws the job also runs the civil work, the carpentry, the electrical, the painting and the final styling, on one schedule with one person answerable for it.

Money Plant High Street sits just off the SG Highway in Gota, a few minutes from Science City Road and the Jagatpur crossing, with parking in the building. Coming from the city centre it is a straight run out along the highway; coming down from Gandhinagar or Adalaj it is the same road in the other direction.
The experience center at the studio is the part a national online brand cannot copy. Laminate, veneer, acrylic, stone, hardware, wardrobe and kitchen mechanisms, lighting: you handle the sample and open the drawer before it is specified, rather than approving a render of it.
A supervisor on site through execution, not a weekly photograph on WhatsApp. Being in the city is what makes that a promise rather than a scheduling problem.
Civil work, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, furniture and styling on one schedule, with one point of contact and a dated handover, so nobody is left arbitrating between a designer and a contractor.
A long-standing group of carpenters, fabricators, stone cutters and finishers in Ahmedabad, who know how the drawings are detailed. Most of the quality lost on an interior project is lost to a decision made on site under time pressure by somebody guessing.
Mexora came out of furniture making rather than decoration, so joinery, storage and finish build-ups are drawn rather than left to the carpenter to interpret.
A rate per square foot quoted before anyone has seen your space is not a real number. An itemised estimate follows the site visit, so you can see what each part of the scope costs and remove what you do not want.
Ahmedabad is a long city and a studio's real catchment is the drive, not the municipal boundary. These are the areas Mexora works in regularly, which is to say the ones where we can get a supervisor to site the same day.
